As a Receptionist, you’ll often be the first impression of our firm and as such, an integral part of the team.
We’re looking to employ a part-time receptionist **(Monday 0900-1700, Tuesday 1000-1600, Wednesday 1000-1600, Thursday 1300-1730, Friday 0900-1730**)**
**Main Purpose of the role**:
The team handles a high number of incoming calls from across the firm’s 54 offices and alongside our Client Care team, are the first point of contact for new and existing clients. Our reception has a genuine focus on client care, we aim for all our previous clients to be our biggest advocates.
The Reception Team are responsible for ensuring client contacts into Stowe Family Law are handled effectively and efficiently and with exceptional customer service.
The core of the role is handling existing client enquiries over the telephone and passing these through to the relevant family lawyer to assist them further.
The reception team also support the Client Care Team by answering new business enquiry calls, during times of peak demand, taking initial details of the prospective new client, entering these into the case management system and organising a call back with one of the client care team.
The following list of duties is not exhaustive but gives a flavour of the responsibilities the Receptionist will undertake:
- Handling existing client enquiries and ensuring the client is either passed through to the relevant person or action is taken to ensure the client is contacted at the earliest opportunity
- Handling New Business Enquiries to support the Client Care Team during times of peak demand
- Greeting clients/visitors and providing excellent customer service
- Taking messages, relaying information and general administration duties
- Maintaining security by following procedures
**Requirements**:
- Experience in a similar role and environment
- Excellent communication skills, with experience of working in a telephony-based role
- Customer focused - can do attitude and gets the jobs done with the best possible outcome for the client
- Excellent organisational skills
- Punctual, reliable and able to maintain strict confidentiality
- The ability to resolve issues using own initiative
- The ability to build strong working relationships across all areas of the business
- The ability to work well in a team-based organisation
- The ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong IT literacy and high level attention to detail
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Office
