Senior Network Planning Manager

This role, reporting to the Supply Chain Customer Development Director, International (Europe based) will be developing and implementing modern and efficient logistics network solutions driving out Supply Chain costs, improving agility, service levels toenable the businesses international growth expectation. This role will be key in Sysco International’s aim to provide world class supply chain services to their customers.
As an individual contributor within Sysco’s International Supply Chain team, the role’s primary responsibility will be to build network optimisation models using LlamaSoft SCG, gather and validate logistics network modelling data, run scenarios, and developoutput reports as part of the network optimisation initiatives. Projects could include distribution network design, transportation mode and routing optimisation, inventory hub and spoke optimisation, capacity planning, and other areas where simulation andmodelling can bring significant improvements.
You will collaborate with key stakeholders to gain expertise in technical and functional areas of supply chain optimisation. This position has been defined as a key role in Sysco International Supply Chain’s 5-year strategy to transform the InternationalSupply Chain from good to great and align all Supply Chain initiatives. The role is essential in ensuring that capabilities and subsequent benefits are tracked and materialized through the strategy.
This is a home-based opportunity, Location being flexible within the UK, Ireland, Sweden, France and Belgium.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Be responsible for leading the development and deployment of modern and efficient network solutions across Sysco International countries
- Work closely with the internal cross-functional teams to gather, analyse, and transform network modelling data
- Will lead functional teams or projects in the creation and implementation of E2E Supply Chain Solutions with requirements, to manage complex Supply Chain transformational programs
- Conduct ongoing network analysis using operations, supply chain, transportation, and logistics data and identify improvement opportunities
- Design and build LlamaSoft SCG optimization models according to business specifications. Own network modelling analysis and drive to completion with depth and/or breadth of expertise working independently
- Develop comprehensive output reports from optimization scenarios using Tableau and support network analytics improvement initiatives across logistics organization
- Develop good understanding of current network design data, shipment data, transportation costs basis, planning data and other related business data critical for network modelling. Support the development of cost estimates and demand forecasts for logisticsmodelling and tracking
- Support process improvement projects resulting from network analytics to increase service performance and/or minimize costs. Project scope could be simple to moderate in complexity and includes processes with outsourced logistics operations providers, freightforwarders
- Work in close alignment with Sysco global colleagues based in Houston
- Manage multiple tasks and priorities concurrently and work well under tight timelines
