**About us**
John Cribb & Sons Ltd is an independent family owned and operated electrical wholesaler which was established in 1981.
**Purpose**:
The Accounts Team consists of 5 people. The Purchase Ledger is responsible for posting and processing supplier’s invoices (upwards of approx. 100 per day), debit notes and credit notes. Completing daily, weekly and end of the month procedures, supplier statement recs and general ad hoc office duties.
**Core Functions**:
- Processing Purchase Invoices, Credit Notes & Debit Notes
- Purchase Ledger accrual for the Financial Controller
- Supplier Statement reconciliations
- Answering the telephone and making calls to suppliers/branches as required
- Preparing weekly and monthly supplier payment runs
- Other accounting tasks as required
- Ad hoc office duties, data entry and price updates
There will be scope to demonstrate your wider experience and develop your skills.
This is a full-time post
