School Minibus Driver

**Job Summary**
We are looking for a school minibus driver to join our dedicated team at Queen Mary’s School. You will already hold a D or D1 PCV licence, holding all the appropriate qualifications and licences to drive.

Split shifts would be considered.

The role is based on 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon. Other driving duties may be available during the day and during holidays. Due to the needs of the school the buses are retained on site during the school day.

This is a Term Time only position.

**Duties**
- Collect pupils at designated points on minibus route in the morning and return them to drop off points in the evening according to the timetable
- Conduct daily bus run as directed
- Maintain internal and external cleanliness of bus
- Carry out daily maintenance checks and record and submit information to the Bursar
- Refuel the bus to ensure that it is not left with insufficient fuel
- Account for daily mileage
- Record pupil usage and submit data to the Bursar
- Report all damage / repair requirements to the Bursar

**Experience**
- Previous experience as a Driver is preferred but not essential.
- **Hold a full UK driving licence with category D, D1 or D101 entitlement.**:

- **Must have the Right to Work in the UK.**:

- Strong mechanical knowledge is advantageous for troubleshooting minor vehicle issues.
- Ability to communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Proven track record of maintaining a clean driving record and adhering to safety protocols.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.21-£13.50 per hour
