We are now looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to join our busy Accounts department.

**Responsibilities**:
**Accounts Payable**
- Checking invoices match the purchase order and delivery note
- Check prices on invoices are correct
- Checking of Supplier Statements
- Sort out internal queries with Stores/Purchasing department
- Sort out any invoice queries with Suppliers
- Input of purchase ledger invoices on system
- Timely payment of suppliers by BACS

**Accounts Receivable**:

- Sales invoice processing
- Allocation of receipts to customer records
- Taking of over the phone payments

**Banking functions**:

- Bank reconciliations
- Cash book entries on a daily basis
- Banking and petty cash

**General Office Duties**:

- Working to month end deadlines
- Answering phone and general admin
- Cover for other members of the team during holidays and sickness

**Skills & Experience**:

- Experienced in Accounts and compliant with Netsuite Accounts package and Microsoft Office
- Positive, pro-active person with a friendly approach
- Accurate and Literate
- A great work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude

**What we offer**:
**Salary**: £18,500 - £26,000 dependant on experience

**Contract**: Permanent

**Hours**: Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm (Hybrid Working)

**Location**: Stonehouse
