**Job Purpose**:
The key objective of this role is to solution and win marketplace / Direct to Consumer (D2C) mandates across the EMEA region for clients that are either marketplaces or consumer to business in nature or have parts of their business that have involvement in these disciplines.

The role will bring thought leadership expertise and solution selling to drive increased ‘eCommerce’ solutions for clients across all industries. This will primarily focus on cash management solutions such as payments, accounts and liquidity, and will interface with broader solutions involving trade and card.

The eCommerce Product Sales team will solution D2C opportunities for clients across all sectors, including eCommerce, Corporate & Public Sector, Fintech and CCB segments.

This role reports to the Senior Sales Director responsible for the eCommerce Product Sales function in EMEA, who in turn reports to the MD, EMEA Head eCommerce & Technology, Communications and Gaming (eTCG) Sales

**Job Background/context**:
The eTCG EMEA Product Sales Team is part of the wider EMEA eCommerce & TCG Sales organisation, of which there are three constituent parts - 1. TTS Solution Sales team members, who are primarily focussed on driving origination and retention of business with their client portfolio; 2. The Business Development Team, who are responsible for detailed cash management solutioning for eComm & TCG clients, as well some origination responsibilities; and 3. The eCommerce Product Sales Team.

The eCommerce Product Sales function is a key function in winning TTS business, acting as an expert resource to solution on complex, multi-country deals that involve marketplaces and D2C flows. The team will take on the lead in coordinating the banks overall response to these client opportunities.

The team and its individuals are measured primarily by wins by deal value and revenue growth, as well by supporting key engagements and initiatives measured by overall franchise value

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead solutioning for complex Marketplace / Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) cash management deals, including RFP responses and client pitches, recommending innovative cash management solutions.
- Marketplace and D2C solutions will include Banking-as-a-Service, Open Banking and Spring by Citi payments gateway.
- Actively feedback and share new developments within the market and the competitive environment to Product Management and actively engage in investment plans for product development.
- Review client account plans with Solution Sales / Banking partners to identify D2C sales opportunities and support origination for clients across all sectors.
- Meet all Sales Management goals tied to pipeline management (CRM), Deal Review and Implementation Project Kick-Offs.
- Work with Implementation and account managers to ensure deals closed are handed over from Sales efficiently.
- Attend regular team and sales management meetings to report on performance and raise personal and team profile.
- Attend industry conferences representing the bank, meeting clients, gaining market insight.

**Knowledge/Experience**:

- Minimum 5 years financial services experience and understanding of key trends in cash management.
- Strong PSP/Cash Management product knowledge.
- Experience in being a Sales lead.
- Demonstrable sales conversion skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills in driving thought leadership with senior clients and collaborating internally.
- Ability to operate to strict deadlines/timeframes
