- We are recruiting for an Administrator_ _for one of our residential children’s homes within Newmarket._

By effectively carrying out this role, you will make a significant contribution to establishing and maintaining a well organised office, to building positive relationships and effective communications, and to providing a reliable, competent service both to employees and to people outside of the company. You will not only be ensuring that efficient systems are in place to meet legal and company requirements but you will also be helping to make other people’s lives easier to manage.
- To communicate effectively with people external to the company. This involves greeting people who visit or call on the phone and dealing with their enquiries efficiently and sensitively. This may be about routine matters or may involve helping people with problems and concerns, both of which will require a sound knowledge of the work of the establishment.
- Support to ensure that staff training records are kept up to date and flag and book upcoming training.
- Support with staff Payroll
- Support with invoicing and payments
- Qualifications/Experience/Requirements_
- Ability to attend work punctually and reliably
- Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with a wide range of other people
- Ability to organise own time to deal with set tasks effectively
- Ability to produce good quality work and maintain positive relationships with other staff whilst working in a busy environment

Requirements for an Enhanced DBS and reference checking will be undertaken in line with government regulations and safer recruitment best practice. Whilst we endeavour to keep the recruitment process as short as possible due to the nature of these important checks it may extend the processing time.
