**Fleet Administrator**:
We have a brand-new job opportunity working as a Fleet Administrator working within the transport department at our clients new distribution center located at South Elmsall.
The client is now extremely busy and are needing extra support with the daily running of the transport operation.

**The Role**:

- We are looking for an enthusiastic, organised and self-motivated Administrator to join our clients Central Transport Fleet team.
- You will work closely with the Transport Fleet Team Manager in the fast-paced and time critical transport operation to ensure that all assets are roadworthy and all statutory road transport legislation and O Licence requirements are complied with. As Fleet and Compliance administrator you will support the monitoring and investigation of accidents and incidents, identifying Root Cause and support the implementation of recommendations, monitor and manage the Defect & Damage reporting procedures in line with statutory and Company requirements and monitor Driver hours and tacho infringements.
- You will support the management of our fleet levels, ensuring that there is no more than 5% of our fleet off the road at any one time. Working closely and collaboratively with service providers, warehouse teams and transport operational teams, you will monitor costs of our fleet, including repair and maintenance costs and will challenge providers where necessary.
- You will manage both core and hire fleet: receiving assets, building and updating service schedules and maintenance plans. Providing cover for the Fleet Team Manager.

**About You**:

- We are looking for a self-starter with experience in a similar administrative role who has strong organisational and planning skills. You will be an excellent communicator, able to build strong working relationships with stakeholders across Next Distribution and with our service providers for Fleet.
- A team-player with a flexible approach and can-do attitude is essential along with excellent PC
- (ideally Google Suite). You must be able to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment, remaining calm under pressure
