**CCTV Operator**

**Salary Range £22,000 to £24,000 per annum**

**Full time 12 hour shift pattern (Days and Nights) Permanent**

Qvis Monitoring is the UK's most Accredited Monitoring Station. With extensive experience within the security and CCTV industry, we've been offering CCTV and Alarm monitoring since 2014. Our clients receive the best service and attention to detail, independently verified each year by the highest UK security regulatory bodies. We're looking for qualified individuals to join the team at our monitoring centre in Havant, Hampshire.

As an Alarm Receiving Operator you will be responsible for answering incoming phone calls to the alarm receiving centre, monitoring customer alarms, CCTV and communicating with customer key contacts regarding their alarms.

**What we are looking for**:

- Alarm handling and CCTV Operating on our bespoke software
- PC data entry and basic administration duties
- Edit and handle customer records
- Follow procedures methodically and upholding excellent standards
- Monitor all systems within the control room in an efficient manner, ensuring that all work is undertaken in compliance with the operating procedures, legislation, and the codes of practice.
- Liaise with Police, other agencies, and designated employees to coordinate the appropriate emergency response by risk assessment and adherence to company procedures.
- Provide routine system support to all clients i.e. system testing, administering alarm configurations
- Participate in departmental administrative duties when needed
- Report all events and actions taken in a clear, legible, and accurate written format.
- Provide efficient and courteous telephone answering service and deal efficiently with all enquiries
- Ensure smooth handovers between operators

**About you**
- Clear, effective communication and strong interpersonal skills
- Good organisation and efficiency as you will be expected to multi-task and remain focused for long periods of time
- To be well presented and professional with the ability to work under pressure and remain calm
- Able to evaluate a situation under pressure using good judgement skills
- Must hold a SIA CCTV Licence
