**Job Overview** We are now registering freelancers for specialist support roles. We are seeking qualified and experienced Specialist Support Professionals for VI and HI to join our UK team in the Leeds and surrounding region. Our clients are DSA, ATW, and HE institutes. Pay is £35-40ph dependent on the specific role. You will play a crucial role in supporting the educational journey of clients in university settings, in either undergraduate or postgraduate contexts. The role may include elements of practical support as part of the overall service (for example, assisting the student to and from classrooms). **Experience and Qualifications** - We require relevant SSP-VI/HI qualifications for this role (e.g. as required by DSA), and an annual DBS check. - Previous experience in SSP work is desirable, or at minimum with any other NMH roles for those newly qualified. - You will have the relevant tools and software you need to perform the role you have prior training for. **Skills** **and Requirements** - Proven experience in any NMH support is highly desirable. - Excellent timekeeping and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and work independently. - Strong organisational skills and a problem solving attitude for situational awareness and social contexts. - A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve the quality of their experience in education. - We will need a copy of all relevant certifications. - A driving license and car is advantagous.
