Rotable Purchasing Executive

The Inventory Strategy team, defines our asset Strategy, working out what we need and where we need it. The team also acquires our Inventory by buying whole Aircraft, Engines, or packages of parts, individual components, or by acquiring stock from our Consignment partners. You will support the existing activities of the team to deliver the outputs required to meet the business needs. You will be an integral role in the Inventory Strategy team in helping optimise its inventory and maximise profitability. You will be required to make informed decisions about stock purchasing and pricing, analyse data to understand the market value and sale potential of components, and assist with stock management decisions.

**What you’ll be doing

- Help analyse future parts investment opportunities
- To co-ordinate business cases and investment progress as required for significant purchases
- Obtain market availability and pricing from vendors and record this data within our ERP system.
- Source and purchase Rotable components from O.E.M suppliers or the open market.
- Monitor and manage open Purchase orders, expediting where required.
- Assist and manage the review of lists received from external & internal sources to provide a detailed assessment of the realisable value and sale potential of components. Produce business cases to support purchase decisions.
- Monitor the performance of packages / portfolios of components and ensure they deliver the margins and returns expected by the business.
- Assist with the placement of regional stock and co-ordinate performance reports for the key stakeholders
- Continue to develop sound transactional and technical knowledge, capability and decision-making to assist the company in achieving profitability targets
- Support with Pricing, sourcing, and purchasing for commercial lease requirements in alignment with budget and approval limits when required by the business.
- Management of the vendor network and relationships
- Other ad hoc tasks as required to support the broader activities of the Inventory strategy team
