This role is part of our Accelerate program that supports the team member to gain the ACII professional qualification from the Chartered Insurance Institute and an Insurance degree over a four year period - a genuine alternative to University - earning whilst learning.

**Role purpose**

To enhance every organisations ability to endure so that they can stay in the game and realise their ambitions. We do this by arranging high quality insurance protection.

**Initial key accountabilities**
- Preparation of existing motor and household policy renewals. Liaising with insurers and clients - meeting client’ needs, presenting the most suitable options and ensuring that our quality procedures and timescales are followed.
- Preparation of renewal invitations for existing public liability policies. Liaising with insurers and clients - meeting clients’ needs, presenting the most suitable and cost-effective cover options and ensuring that our quality procedures and timescales are followed.
- Managing new business and mid-term enquiries for the two client groups detailed above.

Ensuring that client needs are successfully met in a timely manner and ensuring that our quality procedures are followed.
- Supporting other members of the team in the delivery of high-quality insurance advice and policies to clients.
- Claims support to clients. Including liaising with insurers and loss adjusters to progress outstanding matters and facilitate speedy claims resolution.
- Contributing to and implementing marketing activities within the business.
- Manage telephone enquiries. Providing a positive initial contact before passing the enquiry to the appropriate person. Efficient and effective management on incoming and outgoing post.
- Processing the daily banking transactions, ensuring the regulatory standards are met.

Supporting the insurance account reconciliation process.
- Contribute to the establishment of and maintaining office procedures to ensure we deliver a great partner experience and meet compliance requirements.
- Develop knowledge/skills with a commitment to continuous learning and team sharing.

**Qualifications and experience**

Maths / English GCSE (equivalent to grade 4/C or above).

Further Education at A Level or equivalent or other development experience post education.

Commitment to completing our Accelerate program to ACII standard (within 36 months).

Previous insurance experience is not necessary but is not discounted, however, some previous full or part time work or volunteering experience is preferable

**Salary**: £13,000.00-£18,000.00 per year
