**The Role: Cyber Incident Lead**

Join our innovative Cyber Security team at British Airways as a Cyber Incident Lead, where you'll be at the forefront of safeguarding one of the world’s leading airlines. This is a critical role, ensuring we effectively identify, respond to, and recover from cyber incidents, contributing to the resilience and security of our operations.

**What You’ll Do**:

- Lead the response and management of cyber incidents across British Airways’ digital estate, maintaining readiness 24/7, 365 days a year.
- Develop, maintain, and manage incident response processes, ensuring they are robust and effective.
- Present complex technical concepts in an accessible manner to stakeholders across all levels of seniority and expertise.
- Build meaningful relationships with business stakeholders to strengthen collaboration and incident preparedness.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments, even in situations with ambiguous or incomplete information.
- Support the development of in-house digital forensics capabilities to aid investigative efforts across the organisation.
- Collaborate closely with other cyber teams to ensure incident data informs and enhances security tool configurations and controls.
- Coordinate with other International Airline Group (IAG) Operating Companies to manage multi-entity incidents, sharing critical intelligence and lessons learned.
- Drive the continuous improvement of supplier relationships and oversee their alignment with key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs).

**What You’ll Bring to British Airways**:

- A proactive and pragmatic approach, thriving under pressure and complexity.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with a methodical and structured mindset.
- Strong communication skills, capable of translating technical issues into clear insights for diverse audiences.
- The ability to remain calm and prioritise effectively in high-pressure situations.
- A deep understanding of incident response methodology and experience with frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK.

***Your Experience**:

- Proven experience in cyber incident response within large, complex organisations.
- Experience working with stakeholders across diverse teams and seniority levels.
- (Desirable) Familiarity with aviation, transport, or critical infrastructure environments.
- (Desirable) Relevant cybersecurity qualifications such as GIAC Incident Handler.
