This is a fantastic opportunity for an influential, resilient self-starter who will lead and manage a small ER team and will report to the Head of Human Resources.

NIC is currently recruiting for a diligent and solutions focused Lead Employee Relations Specialist to join our Human Resources team, based in Leeds (onsite).

**Job type**:full time (permanent)

**Key responsibilities**:

- To be responsible for providing an operationally focused HR service by providing advice, support and managing employee relations cases.
- To work closely with the senior leadership team to deliver the business strategy.
- To be pro-active in resolving challenging situations whilst driving best fit and ensuring compliance with all company procedures, policies, and employment legislation.
- To work closely with Key stakeholders across the business and advise them on current legislation, help identify risk and offer solutions.
- Experience of managing and developing a team.
- Proven experience of providing a range of specialist ER support including complex case management and performance management
- Strong experience in leading TUPE, consultations, ACAS claims, Employment Tribunals, dealing with Trade Unions
- Up to date knowledge of employment legislation, HR policies and procedures.
- CIPD qualification or working towards.
- Commitment to high standards and an unwavering attention to detail
