The role of the Digital Capability Manager is to provide support and input into the development andimplementation of DWP Digital's Capability Strategy. Your team is responsible for delivering recruitment services for DWP Digital, and you'll work with both internal and external partners to ensure we build and grow capability using whatever route to marketis best, whether permanent hires, contractors or other creative ways of getting the right people in the right role. Duties. Work. Projects You'll add your skills and passion to team delivering a brilliant recruitment service for DWP Digital hiring managersand candidates. We take on demanding resourcing plans and help DWP get the right Digital talent into post so they can build world class services for our users, now and in future. You will need to build and maintain positive relationships with a wide rangeof stakeholders including senior Managers, Commercial colleagues Suppliers and wider Departmental colleagues. And you'll know who to speak to, and influence, to get the outcomes we need. You will have line management responsibilities for a small expert teamwho coordinate end to end permanent or contract recruitment campaigns. Together you'll be organising all the administration and logistics, and making recruitment work as smoothly as possible. You will be accountable for overall team performance, leading andempowering individuals to be at their best. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills complimented by good working knowledge of MS Office applications. The ability to demonstrate experience of managing teams to delivera quality service within a complex and demanding environment. The ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with key stakeholders and partners in to deliver an excellent customer experience. Ensure the Team, stakeholders and Partners have a clearunderstanding of objectives, activities, and timeframes, taking into account different individual needs, views and ideas, championing inclusion and equality of opportunity for all. The ability to work with others to identify areas for improvement and simplifyprocesses to use using technology where possible to increase efficiency and enhance the customer service.
