**Housekeeping Operative / Team Leader**

Currently we have a vacancy for a full time role of Housekeeping Operative Team Leader to join our hardworking team based at Pines Hospital, South Manchester.

We’re seeking a hard-working, enthusiastic, individual to lead our housekeeping Team ensuring high standards of Housekeeping are always achieved. This is a hands on role and some cleaning duties will be included.

**Duties include**:

- Supervising the cleaning team
- Arranging cover for annual leave and other absences
- Cleaning of designated areas, ensuring the agreed cleaning specification is completed, as per the site instructions
- Fulfilling all H&S requirements
- Completing weekly audits to ensure high standards are maintained
- Monitoring all cleaning equipment and reporting any issues
- Carrying out any other reasonable management requests

**To succeed in this role, you will need to have/be**:

- Previous supervisory experience
- Ability to work independently and use initiative
- An understanding of COSHH
- Good attention to detail
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Flexibility to cover shifts as and when required
- Reliable and responsible with a flexible approach to work

This is a full time role working Mon - Fri (hours to be mutually agreed), with some occasional weekend working.

Uniform will be provided.

Pay: £25,000.00 per year
