Accounts Assistant

J H Haskins is a family run organisation in the heart of Shepton Mallet. This role includes working within J H Haskins and Haskins Furniture which share an accounts department. It is expected that you will support and report to the Accounts Manager carrying out financial tasks and work on the bookkeeping as well as carrying out some basic administration tasks for the group.
It is imperative that all accounting records are accurate, and the work is carried out in a timely manner and with a high degree of accuracy.
**Responsibilities**:
- Ensure that purchase invoices are processed in a timely and efficient manner for Haskins Furniture and J H Haskins.
- Inputting correct costs and recording invoices on our internal system.
- Matching receipts with invoices.
- To reconcile and complete daily banking
- Recording of petty cash
Depending on employee's hours, some basic administrational tasks such as ordering supplies, checking and recording driving licences and managing fuel cards will also be required.
This role can fit around school times or childcare and can be full or part time.
Basic bookkeeping skills are desired.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: £11.44 per hour
Expected hours: 27.5 - 35 per week
