**About this job**:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Partnership Project Coordinator within the Barking and Dagenham Safeguarding Children’s Partnership Business Unit which supports Barking and Dagenham’s statutory Safeguarding Partnership to work together collaboratively to safeguard and promote the welfare of all children who live in Barking and Dagenham.

You will be responsible for the effective co-ordination and administration of the BDSCP safeguarding arrangements, to support the unit’s Business Manager with the smooth running of the unit. You will work on a range of activities, including (but not limited to) meeting and event administration, agenda setting and minute taking, supporting the Rapid Review and Child Safeguarding Practice Review process, scrutineer support, and other projects, to meet our statutory obligations. You will also engage with organisations across the BDSCP arrangements to keep them informed of developments and activities taking place across the partnership, requiring excellent communication skills and oversight or our data tracking and website presence.

This is initially a full time 12-month fixed term contract position, which may be extended depending upon the needs of the service and the current review of the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Arrangements (MASA).

**About you**:
We are looking for a dynamic and confident individual who is self-motivated, who ideally has experience of working in a multi-agency environment and has a good understanding of the safeguarding arena. You will have experience in minute-taking and meeting / event coordination, with experience of working to timescales, diary scheduling, collation, and distribution of information. You will also have strong organisational and time management skills as well as excellent written and verbal communication abilities. You will be proficient in using various Microsoft office software and tools, including strong analytical skills to support data collection and tracking, be confident in working independently (hybrid / remotely) and as part of a team with the ability to implement and maintain secure computerised records systems, and basic filing and retrieval processes.

The Business Unit is hosted by LBBD and is located within the Safeguarding and Quality Assurance Service made up of Independent Reviewing Officers, Child Protection Conference Chairs, Quality Assurance auditors, the LADO, and Prevent colleagues.
