Management Accountant

Pure are delighted to be working with a global manufacturing company based in Maldon looking for a Management Accountant for their finance team. This is a newly created role and a great opportunity for somebody to progress.
This would suit an established Management Accountant or an ambitious Assistant Accountant looking to step up. Previous manufacturing experience is preferred.
This is a hybrid position with flexibility to work from home.
Responsibilities will include the following:

- Assistance with Inventory Reporting and support with inventory queries and transactions
- Inventory cycle counts and variance investigation
- Reconciliation of Capital in Progress on a monthly basis
- Assistance with Fixed asset reporting and control
- Analysis of Repairs and Maintenance spend and determination if items are eligible to capitalize
- Assistance with material and factory variance investigation
- Weekly wages posting and reconciliations
- Regular cover for weekly wages collation
- Daily productivity reports
- P&L analysis
- Assistance with KPI reporting
- Assistance with Budgeting and Forecasting
- Assistance with standard cost review
- Tracking project savings
- Assistance with the management of annual stock take
- Assistance with annual financial audit
- Liaising with UK and Global Operations teams
- Participation in monthly plant review meetings with EMEA Operations Leadership team
- Ad Hoc projects support

**Skills, Knowledge and Abilities**:

**Experience & Education**:

- Partly qualified AAT, CIMA, ACA or ACCA
- Proficient in Advanced Excel
- GCSE Maths & English
- Further training support will be provided
