**The role**
- Please note this is a 6 month contract covering maternity leave_

The Conduct team is at the centre of ensuring we do the right thing for customers, in an appropriately governed, controlled and documented manner.

Reporting into the Head of Conduct, the role is varied and fast-paced. As a Conduct Analyst your role is to uncover the things that need fixing to make us work better for our customers.

As a Conduct Analyst you will support the business by identifying conduct requirements and work with key stakeholders to help the business do the right thing for customers and comply with the regulatory requirements.

Conduct MI is a core part of the role - it will enable the business to identify conduct risk and help them make decisions about actions to take. This MI, and the analysis you do, goes to the leadership teams of the business.

The role suits a self-starter who can spot problems and act without a high level of direction.

**What you'll be doing**:

- Providing advice, input and challenge on Conduct and customer matters across the UK business
- Researching conduct queries from across the business, problem solving and following the queries through to completion
- Analysing Conduct MI, preparing MI packs and facilitating conduct related debate based on MI findings with senior leadership teams
- Overseeing the Conduct Risk event log and engaging with risk owners on risk mitigation
- Supporting the UK business Conduct needs by managing relationships for an area or function e.g. Product Governance and Oversight, Conduct MI etc.
- Working on ad-hoc projects including vulnerable customers, conduct training and regulatory change in the different channels

- Have well developed influencing and persuasion skills; able to sell both conceptual ideas as well as a change agenda
- Excellent communicator with first class interpersonal skills
- Good organisation and time management skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- A confident and dynamic approach to problem solving
- Experience of liaising with key stakeholders of all levels

**Our nice to haves**:

- Experience in the Insurance Industry

- Experience of reviewing regulatory publications / documentation
