AYKO is on the lookout for an expert in Marketplace advertising who’s looking for a step forward in their career With this role we’re looking for someone who wants to help build a team of marketplace specialists with support from our Digital Marketing Director. We’re looking for someone who knows their way around Amazon Ads, Amazon’ DSP and is ambitious and wants to build a team.
We’ve designed a programme to support the right person with the knowledge, training and tools to thrive within this role. All of our team receive individually tailored training plans designed to help them progress their career at AYKO. All that we require is the right person with the right mindset with a hunger for long-term success and evidence of strong marketplaces experience.
As a key part of the Digital Marketing team, you’ll be the lead for our Amazon marketing offering. You’ll look to help grow out our marketplaces offering.
At AYKO we create and market high-quality e-commerce websites for well-known brands - we’re growing at a great pace thanks to our great reputation. We’re looking to build out our marketplaces offering.. This role will be key to this, working alongside our Digital Marketing Director, you’ll have the freedom to use your expertise to shape up our strategy as your ambitions and our clients demand.
**Here’s the contribution this role will make to our business**:
- Lead the creation and execution of marketplace strategy: This is a hands-on role and you’ll need to be able to design and deliver a strategy with a particular focus on Amazon advertising and implementation for our clients and potential clients. Working with clients to ensure that they meet their goals and targets with knowledgeable advice and expertise.
- Budget Management: We’re looking for someone with strong attention to detail who is comfortable with numbers and managing clients’ budgets independently.
- Revenue generation: You’ll be responsible for maximising the opportunities for Amazon advertising in the agency, ensuring that we deliver great value for their budgets and that we make recommendations for their strategy that will provide mutual benefit.
- Account Management: Providing outstanding account management for Amazon - tracking, monitoring, and analysing activity and results to demonstrate impact and return on investment for our clients and assist our Account Management team in the broader relationships they have with clients including client calls and meetings.
- Thought Leadership: Acting as our AYKO thought leader in this space - working with other members of the team to share knowledge and improve their understanding. Acting as a thought leader externally to build the AYKO brand and awareness.
- Mentoring and management: With this role we’re looking to develop a team and are looking for someone with the skills to train and develop a future team of marketplace experts and someone who is a real leader.
- Process management. We’re looking for someone who can improve the efficiency of our current service and can improve and build upon our current approach.
**Here’s what we’ll be looking for on a CV**:
- Agency experience, or an agency background - having managed a portfolio of multiple clients - building confident, commercial relationships across a number of different brands
- Experience setting clients up to sell and advertise on Amazon including Amazon Vendor Central, Amazon DSP and Amazon ads.
- Experience of other marketplaces such as Etsy or Ebay would be advantageous.
- Experience of utilising Magento and or Shopify would be advantageous in particular integrating Magento with Amazon.
- Strong organisational skills. We’re looking for a self-starter who can manage their own time independently with support from the Digital Marketing Director.
- Commercially driven. We’re looking for people with strong business acumen with a proven track record of developing marketplace accounts.
- Years of experience isn’t as important as knowledge for this role - but it’s likely that you will have spent at least 1.5 years in a marketplaces role previously
- You’ll have an interest and knowledge in broader digital marketing and enjoy working as part of a multi-discipline team. Widermarketing experience is desirable although the main focus of this role will be on Amazon.
- You’ll be ambitious to build a large team and be confident in your leadership skills
