At Dortech Doors, we are embarking on an exciting transformation, shifting our business model from 'supply and install' to 'supply only.' This strategic change will redefine your role and responsibilities as we strive to enhance efficiency and streamline processes. Your adaptability and dedication to this evolution will be essential.
**Responsibilities**:
- **Drive Sales**: Your primary focus will be securing door orders that align with our business requirements and available production resources. You'll use your sales expertise to meet targets and contribute to our growth.
- **Job Handover and Coordination**: Create comprehensive job handover files and ensure a smooth transition to our production team within a reasonable timeframe.
- **Order Management**: Efficiently process and manage customer orders, guaranteeing timely deliveries and accuracy to uphold customer satisfaction.
- **Collaboration**: Collaborate closely with our production team to schedule and coordinate order deliveries, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
- **Customer Communication**: Keep customers informed about their order status and proactively address any delays or issues that may arise, showcasing your commitment to their satisfaction.
- **Build Strong Relationships**: Foster and maintain strong relationships with our customers, earning their trust and loyalty.
- **Teamwork**: Work collaboratively with other members of the sales and production teams to ensure a unified and customer-centric approach.
- **Resolution**: Promptly address and resolve customer complaints, demonstrating our commitment to providing exceptional service even when challenges arise.
**Requirements**:
- **Technical proficiency**: Proficiency with IT systems, including CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales-related software.
- **Organisation**: Strong organisational and time-management skills to efficiently handle inquiries and orders. Excellent planning abilities.
- **Adaptability**: Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment, especially during our transition to a 'supply only' model.
- **Sales Experience**: Previous experience in a sales role, preferably in the door, PVCu, or Construction industry, providing you with insights into the industry and its unique challenges.
- **Self-Motivation**: Proactive and self-motivated with a positive attitude, ready to take initiative and contribute to our success.
**Additional Requirements**:
- **Communication Excellence**: Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both internally with Dortech staff and externally with our valued customers.
- **Collaborative Spirit**: A strong team player who readily shares information and works positively with other members of staff.
- **IT Literacy**: Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office packages, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- **Experience in Domestic Glazing Industry**: Knowledge or experience in the domestic glazing industry will be looked at favourably from any applicants.
- **Sales Experience**: At least 2 years of experience in a sales role.
- **Inbound and Outbound Calling**: The role will necessitate both inbound and outbound calling.
**Salary and Career Development**:
- **Starting Salary Range**: £23,500 to £26,000, depending on experience.
