Sales Engineer

Engineering @365 is working with a specialist engineering business that designs and delivers advanced air treatment and humidity control systems for industrial and technical sectors. Their engineered solutions are used by leading global companies that rely on precision environmental control to improve efficiency, quality, and safety in production environments. About the role: This is a high-impact technical sales position responsible for developing and managing customer relationships while identifying and delivering tailored engineered solutions. The role combines business development with hands-on engineering understanding and offers long-term growth for a driven, commercially minded individual. You will work with a mix of existing and new clients across the UK, providing technical advice, developing proposals, and managing projects from concept through to order handover. A background in engineering, particularly within HVAC, process, or mechanical systems, will be a strong advantage. Key Responsibilities: Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities across target industries. Build and maintain long-term customer relationships through regular site visits and consultation. Understand client requirements and propose appropriate technical and commercial solutions. Prepare detailed costings, quotations, and supporting technical documentation. Deliver professional presentations and proposals to technical and commercial stakeholders. Follow up on quotations and drive opportunities through to closure. Provide feedback to engineering and projects teams on client requirements and design developments. Contribute to monthly reporting, forecasting, and continuous improvement initiatives. What we’re looking for: Proven technical sales or business development experience, ideally within engineering, HVAC, or industrial systems. Strong understanding of mechanical or electrical engineering principles. Proactive attitude with the drive to build relationships and close deals. Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel nationally and occasionally overseas. Engineering qualification (HNC/HND or degree level). Experience in process engineering, air treatment, or energy efficiency systems.
