Liverpool Business School enjoys a strong reputation for its growing and vibrant undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, along with existing local, regional, and international partnerships. As a Business School we are committed to embedding digital literacy, employability, and internationalisation into all of our programmes. In addition, as signatories for PRME, we have a lively community of staff working across this area. We are also very proud of our Business Clinic that has been established to provide students with the opportunity to undertake a live business consultancy project with an external host organisation. Our Business Clinic works with businesses and organisations from across the Liverpool City Region.
We are seeking to appoint an experienced academic to contribute to the teaching and learning in the area of Sport Business. Applications for Lecturer or Senior Lecturer will be considered.
- have a strong commitment to ensuring an outstanding student experience.
- develop and deliver innovative teaching in Sport Business (preferably but not exclusive to the areas of Sports Analytics, Commercial Sport or Women's Sport).
- proven record of ability to conduct quality research.
- contribute to the pastoral and academic supervision of students.
- be committed to liaising with businesses and other organisations to connect the research and teaching capability of the School to professional leads.
- have a clear understanding of how the outputs of scholarship and research or professional body engagement can inform curriculum development to enhance the learning experience of students.
