Currently seeking an experienced Senior Finance Manager who can lead the charge in producing our management accounts while providing insight to stakeholders to aid decision[1]making.
Reporting to the Head of Finance you will work with stakeholders across the business to provide reporting to support key decisions and influence the delivery of both operational and cash improvements.
You will be part of a super engaged, high performing team and have the opportunity to influence and collaborate on some really exciting projects as we continue to grow our fantastic brand.
**Main responsibilities include**
Produce management accounts with commentary and analysis against various scenarios, including P&L, balance sheet, cashflow and working capital
Business partner with budget owners to lead costs reviews and understand and challenge variances to plan, providing insight of key cost drivers to influence management decision making and deliver efficiencies in line with business strategies, and proactivelydrive business performance by identifying opportunities for development
Support the Head of Finance in producing operational plans (up to 3-year plans) including all financial statements and board presentations, working closely with business partners to construct and challenge plans with ongoing trend analysis and insight providedagainst variances
Support the Head of Finance in cash management, ensuring that forecasts are accurate and all variances to plan are understood
Ownership of capex governance and reviews, ensuring that spend aligns with plan and post implementation reviews are completed and communicated to key stakeholders
Assist in the preparation of the statutory accounts with ownership of audit deliverables and disclosure notes for the annual audit, acting as first point of contact for external audit queries
You will be a fully qualified accountant with extensive management accounts experience in a fast-paced retail environment with multiple stores.
Show a natural curiosity to understand the drivers of costs with the ability to analyse and extrapolate these into robust financial plans, using your advanced Excel skills to build financial models.
An excellent communicator with the ability to own business partnerships and deliver key insights to influence stakeholders in their delivery of operational and cash improvements.
Demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset to drive efficiencies via tech led automation and develop and coach your team in providing support to the business.
