Well established retailer based in Central Orpington looking to recruit a Senior Management Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Head of Finance and CFO. The main responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

- Produce management accounts with commentary and analysis against various scenarios, including P&L, B/S, cashflow and working capital
- Business partner with budget owners to lead costs reviews and proactively drive business performance by identifying opportunities for development
- Support the Head of Finance in producing operational plans (up to 3-year plans) including all financial statements and board presentations, working closely with business partners to construct and challenge plans with ongoing trend analysis and insight providedagainst variances
- Support the Head of Finance in cash management, ensuring that forecasts are accurate and all variances to plan are understood
- Ownership of capex governance and reviews
- Assist in the preparation of the statutory accounts
- Direct report for management accountant
