**Job Summary**
We are seeking a trainee Construction Support Operative to assist our business by gaining hands-on experience across various departments.
**Responsibilities**
- Assist in the implementation of document control systems to ensure the integrity of project documentation.
- Manage and maintain internal management trackers and produce weekly and monthly reports for issue to senior management.
- Support the preparation of project reports, learning to collate data and draft documents that contribute to project transparency and stakeholder communication: E.g., project report preparation and cost analysis.
- Act as a support link between office staff (Teams in the office and senior management) and on-site teams, developing communication skills and understanding the flow of information.
- Learn to create and manage spreadsheets that track project costs, schedules, and resources under guidance.
- Help coordinate the preparation and distribution of tender packs, learning the importance of compliance with industry standards.
- Contribute to the organisation and structuring of filing systems to ensure efficient document management.
- Receive training in quantity surveying tasks such as measurement and cost estimation, supporting the preparation of bill of quantities.
- Understand and learn about tender analysis.
- Understand and learn about project programmes, internal management checklists.
- Prepare and produce subcontract orders and/or purchase orders.
- Prepare and distribute Payment Certificates - liaise with project management and commercial team and contractors.
- Observe and learn the process of managing subcontract agreements and the raising of purchase orders.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
This role is ideal for individuals looking to contribute their skills in a dynamic construction environment while supporting the successful execution of projects.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Graduate
Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
