Contract Support Officer

Look no further than Ward Security We're on the lookout for individuals ready to take on the challenge of reliable Contract Support Officers to join our team As a CSO you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and employees. Your primary role will be to monitor and patrol assigned areas, respond to incidents, and ensure the overall security of the premises.
**Position**: Contract Support Officer - Croxley
**Pay Rate**: £12.50 per hour
**Shift Pattern**: Various (days, nights, & weekends)
**Location**: Croxley Green Business Park, Watford

**Requirements**:

- Valid SIA licence
- Excellent communication skills
- Previous customer-oriented work experience
- Previous experience in the security industry (desirable)
- 5-year checkable work history

**Duties**:

- Ensure all instructions, both written and verbal are adhered to
- Report any issues to the supervisor or duty manager
- Always conduct yourself in a professional manner
- To provide regular foot patrols within defined areas as an effective deterrent in the protection of the client’s property and assets.
- To provide a point of contact and information centre to staff and visitors.
- Respond to emergencies
- Deal with conflict in an appropriate manner if required
- Write up incidents to the standard expected by Management
- Carry out ID checks
- Be vigilant to the Health and Safety risks
- Excellent communication skills to all levels - verbally, written, phone and by security radio’s
- Can work effectively as part of a team or can work on own initiative
- A positive attitude to dealing with people and taking on challenges
- Adhere to all written and verbal instructions diligently.
- Promptly report any issues to the supervisor or duty manager
- Maintain professionalism in all interactions.
- Monitor access points, granting or denying entry as appropriate.
- Conduct regular patrols to deter threats to client property and assets.
- Investigate incidents and take lawful action as per corporate policy.
