**Job **Overview

With the national focus on improving services for children and young people’s (CYP) mental health and wellbeing, there has never been a better time to join our CAMHS team

Applications are invited from suitably qualified Mental Health Nurses, Occupational Therapists and Social Workers interested to join our Wiltshire Single Point of Access (SPA) Team as part of Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service.

This Band 5 Mental Health Practitioner role is based in **Melksham **, and the post holder will also be required to provide consultations to education settings across Wiltshire.

**Main Duties**

The post holder will join the clinical team who are responsible for all referrals and enquiries for CYP across our three Wiltshire CAMHS teams. As the main point of contact the SPA team are instrumental in gathering more information and co-ordinating the appropriate care at the right time by the right service/pathway.

You will also be required to complete telephone consultations with CYP’s, Parents/Carers and referrers to assess need and the necessary support and have excellent skills in writing letters to CYP, Parent/Carers to provide advice and guidance.

We are passionate about forging links with our community partner agencies and with our participation group network; we require the successful applicant to engage with such networks where possible.
