Wonderful family who live in Stafford are needing a super person who is excellent at ironing and loves dogs. The family live in a splendid country house with wonderful grounds.

There is plenty of work around the area and the family have no issue at all in finding something else to coincide with them. In fact they will help you if you are wanting extra hours and pay.

The family also need you to be around when they are away to look after the dogs, there is other staff on the grounds too.

The job is 2 days a week but can be split over the week as you like e.g. one whole day + one morning + one afternoon (or whatever). It is basically washing, ironing (very high standard) and general housework. And most critical of all is a love of dogs The idea of this job is that she gets to live in a super nice flat which is pretty crazy for a 2 day a week job but the payback is that they do dog sitting on pre-planned evenings and weekends. The dog sitting is shared with another person who lives in a cottage in the garden but we hope that more than half of it will be done by the person in the flat. It works really well as the flat is close to the dog’s room where they sleep at night. It is also reassuring for us to have someone living nearby to be another pair of ears/eyes when we are away.

The final aspect of the job is working in the house during occasional weekends (especially during the shooting season). Handing round plates in the dining room, helping to wash up, making beds etc. Etc. All of this is on overtime and the dates are planned well in advance.

We don’t mind if whoever this person is has a partner who wants to live there with them, but the accommodation is not suitable for children as it is close to my husband’s office and the meeting room.
