We are currently recruiting for a Wedding and Events Operational Coordinator to join the team a Eaves Hall.

The role will maximise revenue opportunities in the areas of weddings, conferences and events by driving sales leads and increasing conversions.

**About the Job**

You'll be responsible for creating and pursuing sales leads for weddings, conferences and events at the hotel. You'll interact frequently with guests and customers with the intention of earning repeat and expanded business. You'll focus on converting enquiries into bookings ensuring all appointments and show rounds of the hotel are executed well, adapted to the needs of the customer and that you follow up in a timely manner to secure the booking.

The applicant will need some Operational experience within hospitality as they will be responsible for the delivery and organisation on the day of the setup of the wedding which will include master of ceremonies, meeting the bride and groom, delivery of the ceremony, organisation of guests and front of house team and overseeing the delivery of wedding breakfast up until the evening reception.

You'll actively seek and support marketing opportunities, manage the events schedule to maximise yield and focus on a consistently executed up-selling approach.

You'll complete the administration for all events - ensuring function sheets are finalised and distributed to all departments, chase payments, update and distribute event information, complete all correspondence to guests and customers.

You'll also participate in hotel promotional activities across the James' Places group.

- Strong organisational skills - able to manage appointments diary and prioritise work effectively

**What's on offer**

**Salary**: 22k-24k

**Working Hours**: Full Time position (40 hours) working 5 days including evenings and weekends
