**Key responsibilities**
**Role Purpose**: Accurately load retail price changes and promotions in line with the operational plan. Seek to constantly reduce pricing and promotional errors which impact colleagues and customers.
**Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities**:
- Process the upload of Retail Price Changes
- Execute the price changes accurately, ensuring all price changes are fully audit-able & traceable
- Communicate all retail price activity to relevant stakeholders via appropriate communication channels (e.g. intranet)
- Seek to resolve retail price issues, ensuring issues are flagged to all appropriate colleagues & makes suggestions for improvement
- Management of promotion activity, loading promotions accurately, ensuring all promotions are fully audit-able & traceable
- Set up & test individual promotions in the retail system as directed by the Transactional Pricing Manager
- Keep up to date with the trading/marketing plan to help identify any potential capacity issues
- Seek to resolve promotional issues, ensuring issues are flagged to all appropriate customers & make suggestion for improvement
- Constantly seek opportunities to improve the efficiency & accuracy of the retail price change & promotions process
- Support the Transactional Pricing Manager in sharing pricing best practice within the SSO teams e.g. Markets, Tradepoint & Clubcard
**Key Business Relationships**:
- Works with Retail Comms, Market teams, Clubcard, TradePoint to effectively deliver accurate price changes
- Strong working relationship with the Pricing Team & Ireland Pricing Team
- Support stores so that they have the correct data to enable them to deliver a reliable customer journey
- Seeks support & guidance from Kits when an issue has been raised to find a resolution
- Work closely with the Legal team to ensure pricing principles are adhered too & followed
- Enhanced working relationship with the Marketing POS team
**Key Decision Rights**:
- Can make key decisions on price changes that contain incorrect data that do not follow our SLA
- Price change limitations can be overridden within a 10% parameter
**Required skills & experience**
**Required Skills & Experience**:
- Proven experience of working in a data administration role within a large, customer focused organisation
- Competent user of Excel at intermediate level, SAP. PMR (promotional management reporting) not essential but a benefit
- Values the importance of data & the need for a high degree of accuracy
- Able to communicate & escalate issues factually & objectively, constantly seeking ways to resolve issues
- Demonstrates & seeks to understand & pro-actively meet the needs of internal & external customers
- Excellent planning & prioritisation skills, able to effectively manage workload for self
- Can communicate effectively & is a proactive communicator, able to flex style as appropriate
- Able to build effective relationships across multiple departments
