**What you’ll be doing**
Our customers are at the heart of our business, and we’re passionate about everything we do to support our customers, communities, and the environment, which is why our **Customer Service Advisors** are so important to our business.
We’re looking for committed individuals with a passion for providing a high quality of customer service to join our Customer Service Centre in Swindon as a **Customer Service Advisor**.Previous contact centre experience isn’t necessary, as what’skey for us is a proactive outlook, an extremely customer-centric approach, and a great attitudeAs we’re proud to support the communities we serve, we’ll need you to live in the Thames Water region**. **You’ll know if you do as you’ll be a Thames Water customer with your water bill coming from us.
Our **Customer Service Advisors** are the first point of contact for our customers, and you’ll be representing Thames Water and taking ownership of customer queries, asking the relevant questions, and finding a swift resolution to all enquiries.A professional understanding of what makes first-class customer service is important, as are flexibility, multi-tasking and problem-solving. **Our working hours are 36 hours a week, between 8 am - 8 pm Monday to Friday with 1 Saturday in 4. This alsoincludes bank holidays.**
**What you should bring to the role**:
- A strong passion for customer service
- An excellent telephone manner with good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to interact with our customers
- Enthusiasm and being a great team player
- Willingness to learn and progress
- Good IT, listening and problem-solving skills
- An ability to work within a fast-paced and sometimes pressurised environment
