An exciting opportunity to join the Customer Insight Team of the UK’s leading specialist electrical and telecommunications retailer and services company. Based in the company’s headquarters in London, the Customer Insight Executive will play a key role in delivering actionable and accurate customer insight across the business, helping to drive change and inform insight-driven decision making during a fundamentally transformative period for the organisation.
The Customer Insight Team plays a central role within the Currys organisation. They provide an expert view on customer behaviour and what this means for initiatives and strategies across all parts of the business, by giving inputs and recommendations that go far beyond simply reporting what the numbers say.
As part of this role, you’ll be responsible for:
- The end-to-end design, set-up and delivery of insight projects, driving change and making sure major decisions start from a customer viewpoint.
- As well as supporting ad-hoc requests and tasks, the role has a number of important and high profile-profile ongoing areas of responsibility. The role will provide the opportunity to work across a wide range of programs including:
- Brand and marketing effectiveness.
- Customer experience and journeys.
- Market performance and trends.
- Proposition development and testing.
- Customer profiling and segmentation.
- Data & insight visualisation and socialisation.
- Owning and developing usage of the broad suite of resources available as part of the Insight Team’s toolkit,
- Building strong working relationships with colleagues in our analytics, go-to-market and customer strategy teams
You will need:
- Understanding/experience of retail (store and online), consumer electronics or telecoms sector desirable.
- Comfortable with working with different datasets, and an ability to independently analyse key datasets to identify the main relevant findings which will create a coherent story.
- Experience scoping, designing and briefing projects and surveys to meet stakeholders needs.
- Experience of dealing with stakeholders from different business disciplines and an awareness and appetite to understand the different agendas they are looking to drive.
- Experience of using Qualtrics, UserZoom and Q desirable
