**HR Officer - Tricel Gloucester**

**Full time, permanent position**

**Location: Stonehouse**

**The Role**

The HR Officer will be responsible for working closely with Managers & carrying out a range of generalist HR related activities across the UK companies. There will be a focus on ensuring the businesses have the key talent they need to compete in the market and continue to grow.

The role is an integral part of the HR department and has been strategically aligned to provide specialist support through the recruitment and retention of our employees, with responsibility for the full-cycle recruitment experience and employee relations whilst maintaining generalist support across the business units. This role will support multiple sites, and a driving license, willingness to travel would be an advantage.

**Responsibilities**
- Responsible for full-cycle recruitment; handle the employee requisitions, adverts, sourcing, pre-screening, leading the interview process, set up assessments, facilitate offers, reference checks and pre-medical questionnaires, onboarding etc.
- Managing the day to day employee relations to ensure any concerns are handled efficiently, minimising the risk to the Company.
- To improve the capability and performance of all our people to ensure the Company remains technically focused and aligned to objectives.
- Be the driving force for talent and HR wide projects and initiatives, including diversity & inclusiveness, wellbeing days, mental health awareness etc.
- Responsible for conducting stay interviews & exit interviews with employees.
- Responsible for designing and delivering training on HR related topics.
- Support the HR team with the delivery of the annual targets;
- To behave as an ambassador for the Tricel Group, ensuring that the Company vision, mission and core values are embedded in to the everyday culture of the UK businesses;
- Preparing monthly reports for the UK & Group specifically focussing on turnover and retention, headcount, diversity and recruitment.
- Attend career fairs and partner with the local community to improve the Group’s visibility and strengthen the Tricel brand.
- Maintain the employee database, ensuring all relevant personnel information is held & pro-actively manage this to ensure it remains up-to-date;
- To undertake general administration associated with the HR function, utilising the HR administration team based at Head Office, for additional support.
- Any other duties that may be required to support the HR team.

**Key Skills and Experience**
- Experience of working within a Manufacturing organisation.
- Technical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience of working across a multi-site organisation.
- Strong commercial drive and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Organised and results oriented - demonstrating a can do attitude and pro-activeness.
- Self-motivated and able to work autonomously.
- Knowledge of embedding a new HR system.

**Package**
- Salary up to £35,000 per annum
- Annual bonus
- 22 days Holiday + Bank holidays
- 8.30 am - 5 pm Monday - Thursday / 8.30 am - 4pm on Fridays.
