Location & Working Arrangement Severnside, GloucestershireHybrid (4 days in office)Full‑time – Permanent Position Overview We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Manager to join our Severnside dairy site. The Site HR Manager will own the full employee lifecycle – from recruitment and onboarding to performance management and employee exit – in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Support the HR agenda for the site in collaboration with key stakeholders. Build commitment for HR initiatives across the site. Communicate people‑related initiatives and strategy to the workforce. Drive compliance against key people KPIs (absence, turnover) and track progress. Participate in the implementation of HR projects, procedures and guidelines aligned with organisational goals. Deliver an engagement and wellbeing agenda and track progress against action plans. Facilitate employee forums, focus groups and listening sessions. Collaborate with HR Centres of Excellence – ER, Recruitment and L&D teams. Partner with the Reward team to design, implement and communicate incentive and recognition programmes. Co‑coach management teams to improve performance development effectiveness. Ensure the performance management process is in place and operating effectively. Support talent identification, development and succession planning initiatives. Build leadership capability through coaching and skill development. Manage recruitment in line with workforce plans and review headcount with Finance to control budgets. Key Skills & Experience CIPD qualification or equivalent experience. Experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience working within a business‑partner or matrix structure. Proven track record leading HR project workstreams. Strong understanding of HR legislation and ability to apply it appropriately. Ability to build trust, respect and openness.
