**The main responsibilities of the Systems Accountant include**:

- Play a crucial role in implementing / upgrading new ERP and P2P systems for the organisation, currently at concept stage you will detail out the high-level specification and own the process from start to finish.
- Identify improvements on consolidating the organisation’s systems, helping optimise and untangle much of the integration between systems, ensuring the finance team are able to produce valuable reports.
- Create a ticketing system on finance system issues, creating a solution-driven process that facilitates efficient resolution of queries.
- Liaising closely with IT and finance to evaluate the existing systems as well as building specifications for the new systems.
- Line management of one Junior Systems Accountant who will be the first line support for all incoming queries, holding month 1-1’s and nurturing their professional development.

- An experienced Systems Accountant who has a proven track record of delivering successful systems implementations and upgrades.
- Able to demonstrate significant sequel report writing skills.
- At least a Part Qualified Accountant, or qualified by experience.
- Ideally experienced in using some of the following: Oracle, Bluebox, SQL, Northgate.
