Job DescriptionJob title: SME Account HandlerSalary: 34000Location: LeicestershirePURPOSE OF ROLEOn behalf of our client were looking for an experienced Account Handler to join their SME team. This role is all about supporting a wide mix of business clients managing insurance portfolios and delivering tailored solutions. The successful candidate will be central to building strong client relationships ensuring retention and driving service excellence.RESPONSIBILITIESManage renewals mid-term changes claims and client queries with accuracy and careProvide clear advice on a range of insurance products making sure clients are fully protectedDevelop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while spotting opportunities for new businessPrepare and process policies renewals and endorsements ensuring all documentation is accurateNegotiate with insurers to secure the best terms and premiumsKeep records up to date and compliant with company and FCA standardsWork collaboratively with colleagues sharing knowledge and supporting team successDAY-TO-DAYA typical day will involve managing a varied client portfolio handling high volumes of work and ensuring deadlines are met without compromising accuracyYoull liaise with insurers advise clients and keep all activity in line with compliance requirements while working closely with your team to deliver seamless serviceEXPERIENCEProven background in account handling within commercial insuranceStrong knowledge of SME/commercial insurance products and marketsConfidence using insurance systems (Acturis experience a plus)Solid understanding of FCA regulations and compliance obligationsProgress towards CII qualifications (Cert/ACII) is highly desirableSKILLSStrong problem-solving ability and sound judgementGreat attention to detail and solid organisational skillsConfidence negotiating with insurers and advising clientsA collaborative approach with adaptability to meet changing demandsA client-first mindset with excellent communication skillsIf you have the relevant experience or know someone that does please contact me now on or email us at Key Skills Accounting Software,Time Management,Accounts Administration,Accounts Receivable,Accounts Reconciliation,Administrative Skill,Leadership skills,Accounting & Finance,Accounts Management,Communication,Analysis Skills,Relationship Management,Team Player Spirit,Budgeting Skills,Accounts Payable Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
