**Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to legal professionals, including managing schedules and appointments.
- Prepare, format, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and reports with a high degree of accuracy.
- Conduct audio typing for dictations and transcriptions as required.
- Maintain an organised filing system for both electronic and paper documents, ensuring easy retrieval of information.
- Make phone calls to facilitate work stream
- Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and external parties to facilitate smooth operations.
- Utilise IT skills to manage office software such as Microsoft Excel and Outlook for scheduling and document management.
- Assist in time management by tracking deadlines and ensuring timely submission of documents.
**Experience**
- Proven experience as a Legal Secretary or in a similar administrative role within a legal environment is preferred.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Proficiency in audio typing and familiarity with legal terminology is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for client interaction.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: £12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 10 per week
Additional pay:
- Commission pay
- Performance bonus
