**Ashwood Grounds Maintenance** are looking for a competent, enthusiastic and reliable Grounds Maintenance Worker to join our team.

**About the role**:
We're looking for a competent, enthusiastic and reliable person who enjoys working outdoors. Ideally, you have previous experience as a groundsman or skilled in hands-on work and have an eye for detail to deliver work to the highest standard.

You will work as part of a team carrying out grounds maintenance across schools and businesses - this will include, but not be limited to, grass cutting (hand mowers/ride on's), strimming, hedge cutting as well as winter maintenance (gritting, snow clearing).

You must be able to work within a team and as an individual.

IMPORTANT: Must have full driving license and previous grounds maintenance or relevant experience.

**Salary**: £12.50 - £13.00 per hour depending on experience and with the potential for pay rises depending on performance.

**Benefits**:

Schedule:

- Average working week - 36.5 hours on average - 45 hours in the summer season, 20 hours in the winter season. Paid the same wage throughout.
- Saturday work may be offered during busier periods.
