Parts and Maintenance Administrator

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our enthusiastic Maintenance Team at our fast-growing manufacturing premises, on a full-time permanent basis.

**YOU’LL MAKE CONTRIBUTIONS THAT MATTER BY**
- Supporting the Engineering & Maintenance managers with daily purchasing activities that will include working with suppliers to place orders and ensure the continuous, smooth delivery of parts, tools, building materials and consumables.
- Managing the purchase order’s life cycle and ensuring our engineering and maintenance departments have their purchase order in a timely manner, allowing them to carry out required works.
- Evaluating the pros and cons of items based on price, quality and speed of delivery.
- Making decisions based on the information that you have gathered.
- Evaluating prices and work with suppliers to negotiate the best deals.
- Checking, controlling and labelling machine parts and other deliveries.
- Working with the maintenance team to collate paperwork and providing correctly completed records for technical department.
- Stock taking and tidying stores.
- Updating trouble shooting and maintenance documents
- Assisting Engineering & Maintenance managers in new projects including contacting suppliers and obtaining quotes.
- Supporting the Engineering & Maintenance managers with daily purchasing activities that will include working with suppliers to place orders and ensure the continuous, smooth delivery of parts, tools, building materials and consumables.

**ENTRY REQUIREMENTS**

All applicants must have good computer literacy and be confident in operating Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Outlook).

Previous experience within the building trade and or of machinery parts and inventory would be an advantage.

**HOURS**

30 - 40 Hours - Monday to Friday 09.00 - 17.00

**SALARY**

£10.00/Hour (£10.30/Hour following successful probation period)

**LOCATION**

Rothesay, Isle of Bute

**CONTRACT DURATION**

Permanent with 4-month probation period

**Salary**: £10.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Isle Of Bute, PA20 9JH: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
