**Job Title: Personal Support Assistant / Carer**

**Hourly Rate: £13.15 per hour**

**Hours: 43 hours per week (Job share option available) NB overnight support is required as part of this Role.**

We are looking for **two Personal Assistants** to provide support for a lady with multiple health conditions. Each role is for per week 21.5 hours per week, (Additional hours or less hours are available) at a rate of £13.15 per hour.

Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Personal Support Assistant to provide care and safeguarding for an older lady who has experienced Transient Ischemic Attacks (TIAs), leaving her in need of support with daily tasks. The primary focus of the role is to always ensure her safety and comfort while providing assistance with personal care, light meal preparation, and maintaining her general well-being. This position may be offered as a full-time role or a job share.

**Responsibilities**:

- Safeguarding: Always ensure the safety and well-being of the person, monitoring her throughout the day to prevent falls or accidents.
- Continence Care: Assist with using commode as required, ensuring her dignity and comfort.
- Comfort & Hydration: Regularly check in on her comfort levels, ensuring she is not too hot or cold. Provide tea, coffee, and ensure hydration throughout the day.
- Meal Preparation: Assist with the preparation of light meals, shopping, and cooking as needed. Ensure food is appropriately chopped and manageable for her to eat.
- Assistance with Mobility: Help her get comfortable in her chair, assist with getting in and out of bed, and help with general mobility as required.
- Feeding Assistance: Offer help with feeding when necessary, ensuring meals are easy to eat and enjoyable.
- Household Support: Perform light household tasks related

Responsibilities include assisting with personal care, meal preparation, shopping, Flexibility is essential, and drivers are preferred.
