Production Administrator

Production Administrator required for our manufacturing client based in Great Bridge, West Bromwich.
The Production Assistant is responsible for the administration of a broad range of operational activities to support the General Manager and provides support (and cover) to the rest of the team as necessary.
Duties & Responsibilities will include:
Maintaining and ordering shop floor consumables
Maintaining accurate stock records
Booking shop floor goods, including steel, into system
Managing and inputting into the Time & Attendance system
Communicating effectively with the shop floor operatives
To create, plan and update production jobs
To raise and produce dispatch notes
To raise and manage suppliers claims
To support the General Manager in maintaining all appropriate Health & Safety data
To carry out general office administration as required and provide cover for other members of staff
Arrange appropriate daily transport with haulers
Key skills & experience required:
Excellent attention to detail and mathematical skills
Strong communication skills & effective team working skills
Microsoft Office skills (particularly Excel) and good overall IT skills
Be able to work in a fast paced & reactive environment
Reliability
Knowledge of steel and steel processing advantageous
**Working Hours - 39 hours Monday to Friday**
**Salary: £23,000.00-£24,000.00 per year**
**Job Types**: Permanent, Full-time
