Venue Type: BARS/RESTURANTS/HOTELS

Pay between £11.50 - £13.00per hour

Shift Times: To Reflect Venues Opening hours (Days/Lates/Nights)

**Job Purpose**

The primary role of a Door Supervisor is to ensure the safety and security of the venue's clients and employees. This would be as a part of our extended service team.

**Job Overview**

This is a critical position as you will be the company's first line of defence against any potential threat to both the employees and visitors. You will always be on the lookout for suspicious behaviour and activity, dealing with any conflict in an appropriate manner.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**
- Control entry and exit route
- Screen and search visitors
- Ensure visitor is not under the age of 18 or in possession of any dangerous substances or things, such as drugs or weapons
- Check I.D of visitors and conduct bag checks - When Required
- Crowd control
- Supervisor customer arrivals
- Customer management to maintain a safe environment within the venue
- Prevent theft and any violence at the venue
- Respond to any emergency at the venue and deal with any conflict in an appropriate manner if required

**Requirements**:

- A valid SIA licence - Door Supervisor licence
- First Aid at work certificate
- Right to work in the UK
- Excellent communication skills and customer service
- Be able to work as part of a team
- Ability to work under pressure and deal with stressful situations calmly
- Professional and polite but assertive
- Physical fitness and endurance

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract, Permanent, Temp to perm, Zero hours contract
Part-time hours: 40 per week

**Salary**: £11.80-£13.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekend availability
- Weekends only

Ability to commute/relocate:

- LONDON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- security: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- SIA Door Supervisor Licence (required)
