Balvac is seeking a Site Agent to join our growing and specialist team. This role can be based anywhere in the UK, with your main base in either Derby or Leeds, supporting nationwide operations across vital infrastructure schemes.
**What you'll be doing**

As a Site Agent, you'll take charge of delivering projects on site—safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality. This includes:

- Leading site teams and subcontractors on the delivery of specialist repair and strengthening works
- Managing project programmes, cost control, and construction documentation (PMP, ITP, etc.)
- Driving operational excellence using Lean principles and digital tools like BIM360Field
- Ensuring safety remains a top priority through behavioural safety practices and Zero Harm leadership
- Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders and clients to exceed expectations

**Who we're looking for**
**You’ll bring**:

- Experience in delivering structural or specialist repair projects within infrastructure (highways, bridges, etc.)
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and motivate teams
- Proven track record in planning, cost control, and Health & Safety management
- A solutions-focused mindset with a drive for continuous improvement

Specialist capabilities include: Concrete repair, including wet and dry spray concrete, Crack injection, Leak sealing injection, Structural strengthening including the use of FRP composite materials, Corrosion Protection and Cathodic Protection, Post tensioning to bridges, tanks and nuclear reactor vessels, Concrete carriageway rehabilitation using vacuum assisted void grouting and slab realignment techniques.
