We are looking for an enthusiastic food production Supervisor to expand our growing High Care team/ Packing team, to help produce and pack our products ready for delivery. You will have a minimum of one year's experience working in a food production environment, a good work ethic and be a reliable individual. This is a role that involves standing on your feet for much of the day, moving ingredients and equipment around during production, so you will need to have a good level of fitness. **Main duties include (but are not limited to)**: - Working within production, preparing, making, finishing or packing our products. - Leading a team of Operatives to meet production & packing plans. - Managing a team and the workload based on the weeks orders. - Ordering stock needed for production runs. - Follow start up and close down procedures, and maintaining a clean working environment throughout the day. - Adhering to hygiene working practices to ensure the highest possible standards, and all procedures relating to food safety, legality and quality are adhered to. - Monitor and maintain the quality of the product throughout the process. - Complete all relevant paperwork fully every time a product is produced - Ensure correct utilization of manpower and raise concerns in a timely manner with the Senior Supervisor - Production. **Leadership responsibilities** - To promote a culture of dignity and respect amongst staff. - Ensure designated areas of work are left in a clean, safe, hygienic condition. - Maintain required standards, including that of health and safety at all times. - Ensure correct manual handling techniques are followed at all times. - Be aware of company standards and expectations. - To develop an environment that is free from intimidation, harassment and bullying. - integrity / Honesty: Always try to do the right thing.
