Head of Insight

The Head of Insight will be delivering insight to that encourages banks to fully utilise Rewards platform and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and lead a team of 3-6 Insight Analysts to enable you to deliver against responsibilities below
- Understand each bank’s short and long term goals for their programme with Reward
- Present regular information (e.g. in monthly client business reviews) to build each bank’s understanding of customer behaviour in their programme
- Develop relationships externally to communicate Reward’s position as credible experts in using banking data to drive profitable customer behaviour
- Work with internal stakeholders in Reward’s Client Partnerships Team and Marketing Team to maintain a roadmap of Insight work on a rolling 6-12 month basis
- Support your Insight analysts with week-to-week prioritisation of insight tasks, by reference to the roadmap and through close, frequent engagement with internal stakeholders
- Maintain a strong understanding of Reward’s product roadmap so that insight recommendations to clients are aligned to new capabilities as they become available
- Work with internal stakeholders to shape recommendations and proposals, frequently taking a client-facing role in delivering these
- Work with internal delivery teams (e.g. Product, Marketing, Technology) to support the implementation of new programmes, features and customer journeys
- Promote efficiency through harmonisation of Insight assets across different banking clients
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
- Substantial experience of driving the analytics agenda for complex CRM programmes, ideally in the Financial Services sector, including defining segments, KPIs, metrics and testing priorities that are aligned with business strategy
- Technical credibility to lead a team of expert Insight Analysts, grounded in a substantial history of hands-on analysis work, with experience of a range of database programming languages, statistics tools, data visualisation tools, CRM, marketing automation and cloud data platforms
- Substantial experience of generating well-argued commercial recommendations supported with evidence from internally generated data and external economic context
- Expert in presenting a data-driven story to senior clients in a structured, visual and engaging way that inspires interest and builds confidence in your recommendations
