**Salary**: **Up to £29,000.00 per annum dependent on experience/qualifications**

**Hours: Full-time; Permanent **(**40 hours per week, Monday to Friday - 9.00am - 5.00pm, with some flexibility to meet the needs of the home**)

Acorn Education and Care, are recruiting a Deputy Manager to join our team based in Rugeley, Staffordshire.

The Ferns is a registered Children’s Home providing care and accommodation for up to four young people of any gender aged between 6 years to 17 years on admission. The Ferns will provide accommodation for children and young people with Social, Emotionaland Behavioural difficulties. We will also consider children/young people with mild/moderate learning disability.

This home is within commutable distance from Cannock, Litchfield, Stafford and surrounds.

**Our next Deputy Manager will be someone who has:**
- **Mandatory:Level 3 Diploma in Residential Care with willingness to work towards Level 5 Diploma Leadership and Management Residential.**:

- Experience of working in a residential setting
- Working knowledge of relevant legislation such as Children’s Act and Quality Care Standards
- Experience of leading and motivating teams
- Ability to effectively train individuals and groups
