**_About the Role:_**

Join our dynamic team at Royal London as an Investment Writer. In this role, you will support the Senior Investment Content Manager in delivering UK Marketing’s investment content strategy. You will create high-quality and insightful investment content covering Royal London’s pensions and savings investment proposition, translating sometimes complex material into simple and engaging content for advisers, customers and employers. You will also lead the development and delivery of our responsible investment content strategy. This role involves collaboration with various teams within Brand and Marketing, and across the business, to create engaging and relevant investment content for campaigns, projects, and thought-leadership activities.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and deliver our responsible investment content strategy.
- Collaborate with audience marketing teams to support trading and retention activities.
- Work on cross-functional projects to deliver investment content for major campaigns and initiatives.
- Support the development and embedding of messaging frameworks for our investment propositions and responsible investment approach.
- Identify opportunities to improve the quality, consistency, and efficient delivery of investment content.
- Act as a trusted adviser across Brand and Marketing, providing support in the design, delivery, management, and measurement of investment communication activities.
- Support the Senior Investment Content Manager in upskilling colleagues on responsible investment topics and embedding best practices across the team.

**About You**:

- Exceptional writer with a strong portfolio of work.
- Strong knowledge of investments as they relate to pension and saving products.
- Excellent understanding of responsible investment, and proven experience of developing and delivering responsible investment messaging, content and communications.
- Proven experience of writing about complex investment topics for consumer and B2B audiences, with the ability to translate complex material into simple content
- Excellent planning and organisational skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to develop effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Motivated self-starter who can shape, own, and lead projects from start to finish.
- Proactive, personable team player with a can-do attitude.
- Ability to drive best practice and innovation, and challenge the status quo.
- Flexible approach and ability to manage changing requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good listener, able to draw out information, ideas, and suggestions from colleagues and key stakeholders.
