Great opportunity for a hard working team player to work at our wonderful production site in Rochford.
Working for an organisation that has been trading for circa 80 years, a much loved local brand, you will be part of a great team of people.
**_Our Production Operatives are critical in helping produce the Ice Cream that everyone loves_**
**Responsibilities**:
- Operating and maintaining our ice cream machines and other related equipment within a dairy production environment
- Daily cleaning and safety checks on equipment
- Accurately prepare & maintain all area paperwork in a clear, legible, accurate format and completed with required information.
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic to moderate operating difficulties
- Be flexible to perform other duties as required by the business.
**Requirements**:
** Preferable experience from a food background but not essential**
- Enjoy being part of a team
- Able to work on your own initiative
- Able to work to deadlines
- Have excellent hygiene practices
- High standards of customer service and presentation
- Able to cope with heavy lifting and long periods of standing
- As a 7 day working operation we require employees to be flexible in their hours / days of work when requested by the business to support the operation
